The Official Rules
The Court
Played on a standard Pickleball court (20' x 44') but with NO Kitchen (Non-Volley Zone). Players can volley from anywhere at any time.
The Gear
Played with a 22-inch strung racquet and a channeled foam ball, allowing for massive spin and speed.
Stakes Scoring
Games to 3 points in a row. Sets to 5 games. Fast and high-pressure.
Live Net
If you hit the net on your own side, the ball is alive (unless it bounces twice). You can strike it again with anything but the string bed to get it over.
Body Saves
You can legally use your body or racquet handle to keep the ball in play during a save.
The Serve
One underhand serve per point. No "Lets." The server serves the entire game. Must be underhand and below the belly button.
