FROM DREAM
TO REALITY

The Story of Calabasas Pickleball Club

OUR ORIGIN

Two of our founding members, Brad and Brian, have been friends for over 35 years, dating back to their days at Chaparral Elementary. In 2020, like many others, they fell in love with pickleball. They soon met Daryl Wizelman, a fellow Calabasas resident who had also caught the bug.

The three quickly turned from players into fanatics. However, they grew frustrated with the lack of quality courts and the struggle to find open play. So, they set out on a mission: to build the ideal pickleball paradise right here in their hometown.

After years of planning, investing, and gathering elusive approvals, that dream is now a reality. Calabasas Pickleball Club is officially open—a sanctuary built by players, for players.
